Our planet is on the brink of an energy meltdown. The ever escalating rate of energy consumption has put a tremendous pressure on the conventional resources and they are already lagging far behind and struggling hard to keep up.
The only competent answer to this crisis is a non-polluting unconventional resource that is abundantly available. With a virtually unlimited and globally distributed supply of energy and zero polluting effects, the Sun makes for a very attractive alternative energy resource.
Solar Energy is the Genesis of all the forms of energy on Earth. We can utilise this energy using two methods. The thermal approach, where heat is used for drying, heating, cooking and generation of electricity or via the Photovoltaic approach, which converts Solar Energy into electricity that can be used for a myriad of purposes such as lighting, pumping and generation of electricity. In addition to these major benefits, there are numerous advantages that motivate us in going solar.
